This is an ATX power supply specifically designed for AI platforms built for enterprises, companies, studios and professional users. Its core mission is to provide continuous, stable and abundant power within the case for multiple high-performance and high-performance computing graphics cards, as well as the matching top-level processors, thereby maximizing the parallel computing capabilities of the hardware platform and meeting the demands of large-scale AI training, inference and high-load rendering.

The key difference between it and enterprise-level AI server power supplies lies in: form factor (standard ATX vs. CRPS), redundancy (single power supply vs. N+N redundancy), and manageability (basic monitoring vs. cluster-level control), but its requirements for power, interfaces, and stability also reach the peak level of the consumer market.

 

Core application scenario: Desktop-level multi-GPU supercomputing platform

 

Such scenarios impose extremely demanding requirements on the absolute power of the power supply, the 12V output capacity, the number of interfaces, and the carrying capacity of the cables.

Four-way or higher-level high-end GPU AI computing platform

Typical configuration: Intel Core i9/Intel Xeon W or AMD Ryzen Threadripper platform, equipped with 4 NVIDIA RTX 5090 (or equivalent) high-end consumer graphics cards, performing parallel computing via PCIe split.

 

Power core requirements:

 

The total power of the system: The power consumption of a single card exceeds 600W, four cards can easily exceed 2400W. Additionally, when including the CPU and other components, there must be a margin reserved to cope with peak values in an instant.

Ultra-high +12V output: Modern graphics cards are fully powered by +12V. The power supply must have a single +12V design, and its +12V rated output power should be close to the total power of the power supply, to supply all graphics cards and the CPU centrally.

A large number of high-specification graphics card interfaces: At least 4 native PCIe 12V-2x6 (or 12VHPWR) interfaces must be provided. Each interface and its accompanying cables must be capable of safely handling a continuous power of over 600W, which is the foundation for the stable operation of four cards.

Strict ATX 3.1 standard support: Must fully comply with the ATX 3.1 specification, capable of withstanding instantaneous power up to 2.5-3 times the power consumption of the graphics card, and preventing protective shutdown due to the instantaneous load of the graphics card.

2. High-performance multi-GPU rendering and simulation workstation

Typical requirement: For workloads such as 3D rendering for film and television, and complex scientific simulations, it also relies on the parallel computing capabilities of multiple GPUs.

Power supply compatibility: In addition to the aforementioned power and interface requirements, greater emphasis is placed on stability and low ripple noise during long periods of full load operation.
